Nearby attractions

Furnival House is situated in Highgate Village, which is an attractive area to explore, with a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Kenwood House is also nearby and is a lovely place to go for a walk. In the summer months there are open-air concerts in the grounds of Kenwood House. You can easily get a tube or bus down to Camden Town and visit the bustling street markets there.

By Tube : You should travel to Archway Tube Station on the Northern Line to get to Furnival House.

By Foot : You need to exit onto Junction Road and turn to your left once you get to Archway Tube Station. You then need to take an immediate left into Holloway Road and keep walking as this will lead you straight onto Highgate Hill and Highgate High Street. Next you should turn right into Cholmeley Park where you will find Furnival House on your left.

I found Furnival House very pleasant, and in a beautiful part of London. The house was very comfortable and quiet, and I enjoyed having fine parks (Waterlow and Hampstead Heath) so close. It was also convenient for Archway tube station and buses to the West End. The staff were very helpful.

Furnival House was by no means luxurious but was quiet, comfortable for a short stay, and in a beautiful part of London. I would recommend bringing your own towels and be warned it's a bit of a long and hilly walk from the underground station if you have heavy bags. Otherwise no complaints. Lovely stay, great value for money

Furnival House was a wonderful place to stay with great facilities and a fabulous location. I would certainly recommend Furnival House especially if you enjoy a room to yourself. You can also rest assured that the fire alarm works. :)

Great facility - was able to do laundry, cook a meal. Clean basic room. Great for the price. Friendly helpful staff.

I would recommend furnival house. All necessary facilities were there, except internet.There were big comfy lounge chairs in the common room where you could relax in and meet other people. Staff were helpful and nice. Rooms were very basic but good value.(get good directions to find furnival house, Chomley Park is the name of a street off Highgate Hill).I would go back.

Furnival house is located in the heart of highgate and easy walking distance to trains and buses going into London. The rooms are a small but adequate, the office staff friendly and helpful and the accommodation is very clean. Great value, highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night in july 2005 - excellent rooms, excellent location,very friendly staff. Will come again - it seemed completely empty inside although we could see light in most windows - so quiet.

I stayed in furnival house for a weekend, from 18 to 21 June. I really enjoyed this place, it was very clean and the staff are very friendly. The bedrooms are spaciouse and clean. Its very close to central London, with 2 tubes stations within easy walk from hotel. The area itself in highgate it beautiful and very relaxing with nice people. I cant say enough good about my stay. If your going, enjoy
