There are single and twin rooms on offer at Kilvey. These are basic rooms with shared bathrooms but they do come with all the simple amenities you will need including a wash basin, desk, bed linen, tea and coffee making equipment, central heating and a phone (credit to make outgoing calls is available at reception). To mingle with other budget travellers staying here you can go to the campus bars or the Taliesin Theatre. There’s limited parking available and you will have 24 hour room access.

When you’re not painting the town red in Wind Street or on The Kingsway in Swansea city centre you should take time out to explore your surroundings at Kilvey. You could try the beaches in Swansea Bay, go for Joe’s ice cream in The Mumbles, head for Three Cliffs Bay in the beautiful Gower Peninsula, or go further afield to the Welsh capital Cardiff or Pembroke Dock. When you fancy a lazy day you should relax in Singleton Park which surrounds Kilvey; there’s even a pub in the park!

As long as children are accompanied by adults, they are welcome to stay at Kilvey. The reception on the Swansea University Campus where Kilvey is based has a safe to store any valuables.

You can park on campus at Kilvey, subject to availability. If there are no car parking spaces available you will find two large car parks bordering the campus.

By Train : Swansea High Street Station is the closest train station to Kilvey. You can take a taxi from here or catch a bus using the directions below.

By Bus : Take the main exit out of Swansea High Street Station and hop on a bus to the Quadrant bus station. From here, buses in bays 1, 2 or 3 will take you to Kilvey in the Swansea University Campus.

By Car : If you’re travelling on the M4 Westbound get off at junction 42 onto the A483 towards Swansea. When you drive into Swansea get onto Oystermouth Road, the A4067, heading towards The Mumbles. The Swansea University Campus, where you will find Kilvey, is on your right after Brynmill Lane.

If you’re travelling on the M4 Eastbound get off at junction 47 and follow the A483 into Swansea City Centre. Follow the signs for High Street and when you reach Wind Street turn right onto the A4067 Oystermouth Road. Follow the directions above to get to Kilvey from here.
