By Train : The nearest convenient station to Talybont Residence is Cardiff Central Station, which is within a short bus or taxi ride or a long stroll.

By Car : Leave the M4 at junction 29 and follow the A48 (M) westbound. After the 5th turning follow signs for “Talybont Student Residence”. After travelling under the Gabalfa Interchange stay in the left lane and prepare to turn left at the first traffic lights into Excelsior Road. At the mini roundabout take the 1st exit, then your 1st right and then turn right again almost immediately into Talybont. The reception is located at Southgate House.

By Bus : Cardiff Bus Station is right outside the main exit to Cardiff Central Station. If you get on a 21,24,27 or 35 bus you can travel to North Road. Talybont North Residence is easy to get to from here. Otherwise you can catch a taxi which costs around £7.

On Foot : On leaving Cardiff Central Station head towards Wood Street, turn right and then left onto St Mary Street. Walk straight on as it becomes High Street, turn right onto Duke Street and follow this street round to the left as it becomes North Road. Walk along this road for a long stretch and then turn left onto Parkfield Place. When you come to Bevan Place turn right and you will find Talybont Residence on the left hand side.
