Description

If you need to stay somewhere cheap that’s close to Newcastle Under Lyme and Stoke on Trent then how about The Oaks? These halls of residence form part of the huge 600 acre Keele University campus. During the holidays when the students have gone home you can stay here and get free access to the leisure complex. You can also use the wide variety of bars, restaurants, and cafes that are onsite. The Oaks at Keele University

There are twenty clean and simple single rooms at The Oaks. Each of these rooms has the luxury of their own ensuite bathroom; the only thing you have to share with other guests is the well equipped self catering kitchen. In your room you will find a wardrobe, desk, towels, toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. If your clothes are creased when you unpack, an iron and ironing board is available for you to use. After a restful nights sleep you’ll be eager to explore Staffordshire.

Directions

By Train : To get to The Oaks by train you can either travel to Stoke On Trent Train Station (5 miles away) or Crewe (roughly 12 miles away). You will have to hail a taxi from these stations to get to The Oaks.

By Car : From the M6 leave at junction 15 and follow the A519 signposted Newcastle Under Lyme. Go straight across 3 roundabouts and at the fourth turn left onto Lower Street. Go straight ahead at the next one and left at the next roundabout. Follow the signs for Keele University and Conference Centre on the A525.

From the M1 Northbound leave at junction 28 and follow the A516, A50 and then turn onto the A34. At the first major roundabout go straight ahead into Lower Street and straight ahead again at the next one. Take a left at your next roundabout onto the A525 and follow the signposts for Keele University and Conference Park.

From the M1 Southbound exit at junction 24 and get onto the A50. Turn off onto the A34 and follow the same directions given above.

The Oaks are on your right hand side just as you enter the university campus.
