The rooms at Wigram House are clean and in a very handy location. Although there is a 24 hour reception I had some problems checking in afer 11pm even you are unfortunate enough to get there this late. |

I would just like to say that my son and I had a fantastic few days in London. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location.

I would recommend Wigram House to anyone traveling on a budget. The rooms are small, but quite clean; the staff are friendly; and the location is good... great... greatness! And you can cook your own food in the common kitchens (a very convenient asset in London!!) |

I rated the place very good because of the price and location.
The place is very conveniently located for the main turist attractions in London. It is 1 block off the busy Victoria Street into residential area. It is quiet and pleasant, especially after a day of walking with and through the crowd.
One thing that might make it even better is to have directions to the place. I did not have much trouble but others could use a more detail map and direction from Victoria Station. It is within 10 minutes walking with luggage, 5 without. 2 blocks on Victoria Street going east and half a block south on Thirlby Street.
Since it is an university dorm, one should not expect too much. But for the price one has to spend to stay in prime London location, there is no complaint here.
The students that work there are delightful. I spent some time visiting with them to get a sense of what young people are thinking about.

OK, so the room did resemble an odd shaped cupboard but such good value and SO convenient right in the heart of London's Victoria!! Staff and residents were pleasant and the accommodation was clean. Actually finding the right room was something of a challenge as the numbering system was - well, erratic is something of an understatement. Still, students living there, being just as confused as a visitor, convivially joined in the room search! |

The single room was PERFECT. Nice and cheap, and small, but no bigger than I needed or wanted to pay for. Quiet and private. |

An amazing location for anyone who wants to spend time in downtown London, especially the West End area. It was from an easy walk to Buckingham Palace, and even down to Trafalgar Square. The rooms were small, but the location made up for it. I'd recommend it to any young traveller. |
